Terms of Use

Updated September 2, 2026

CareerMark is a career-development tool. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to these terms.

The service

CareerMark lets you track people, experience, credentials, goals, and a weekly cadence. It is a planning and accountability aid. It does not guarantee a job, promotion, raise, or any particular career outcome.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for your login and for the information you enter. Do not file other people’s private data that you do not have a right to keep.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you enter. You give CareerMark permission to store and display it so the product can work for you, and to use aggregated, de-identified usage and de-identified Mark chats to improve the product, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access another person’s file, disrupt the product, or use it for anything unlawful.

No warranty

The product is provided as is. Guidance, suggested goals, and coach text are starting points, not professional, legal, or financial advice.

Limitation

To the extent allowed by law, CareerMark is not liable for career decisions you make or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the product.

Trial and payment

New accounts include a 30-day trial of the full product. No card is required to start. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription (currently $29 per month or $239 for 12 months). Mark, CareerMark’s AI career coach, is included on the trial and on a paid plan, limited to 100 messages per calendar month. Mark uses your CareerMark file and does not promise a job, raise, or promotion. De-identified Mark chats may be reviewed to improve answer quality, as described in the Privacy Policy. Payments are processed by Stripe and renew unless you cancel. If you do not subscribe, the trial ends and your file stays saved. CareerMark does not store your card number.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If you do not agree, stop using the product and close your account.
