For a raise, a promotion, or a different job

Career goals. One week at a time.

Set the goal. Get a 12-week plan — or build your own. Log what you did. CareerMark keeps the week visible so your career goals are something you work toward, not just something you hope happens.

CareerMark Overview on a laptop and the starting questionnaire on a phone

How it works

You answer a few questions about where you are now and what your career goal is — a raise or promotion where you work, or a different job or field. Then you can preload a 12-week plan from those answers, or build your own from suggested goals you pick. Every goal and every action is oriented around the three things that move a career forward: People, Experience, and Credentials.

People

Who already knows your work, who you need to meet, and the conversations and follow-ups that turn into job referrals.

Experience

Projects and extra responsibility you can point to later — logged as you do them, so you are not reconstructing a year from memory.

Credentials

Skills, courses, and certificates that close the gap between what you can do now and what your next role requires.

12-Week Plan

Weeks 1–4

  • 1List the people who already know your work
  • 2Put three conversations on the calendar
  • 3Start a project you can describe in one sentence
  • 4Name the skill or certificate that would help next

Weeks 5–8 and 9–12 open the same way when you expand them.

The 12-week plan

Twelve weeks of action you can repeat

Each week has a theme and a few goals. You expand a week to see what is coming, open a goal to edit it, and log what you did. Some people do get the interview, the raise, or the new role in that window. Success here is keeping the commitment to action. If you need more time, stretch a week or run another twelve.

Accountability

Stay on track. Accelerate when you want to.

Weekly targets keep you honest: a set number of actions in People, Experience, or Credentials so the week has a finish line. Daily streaks sit next to that as a visible reminder to be consistent when you really want to accelerate.

As you complete more goals and take more action, you earn achievement badges — a personal proof point of what you have been able to accomplish.

What it is — and isn’t

It is

  • A weekly tracker for the job you have now, and the one you want next.
  • A place to log conversations, projects, and credentials against a weekly target.
  • A 12-week working cycle you can extend or run again.
  • Mark — an AI career coach that uses what you put in CareerMark.

It is not

  • A job board or a list of openings to send applications into.
  • A résumé writer or LinkedIn ghostwriter.
  • A replacement for a human coach you hire one-on-one.
  • A promise that you will get the raise, promotion, or new job in twelve weeks.

Start with five questions

Create an account, answer a few questions about your current job and what you want next, then log the first action. Takes a few minutes.
